The Bodie Island Lighthouse is located on the southern end of Bodie Island just above Oregon Inlet on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  It was built in 1872 and stands 156 feet tall.  This rather unique reflective sunset photo of the lighthouse was possible due to extremely heavy rains (5-8 inches) in the prior two days.
