Beastly Ray of Light - The sihoulette of an “beastly” animal lies at the end of an intense beam of sunlight in Arizona’s Upper Antelope Slot Canyon. This slot canyon is located on the Navajo Nation land near Page, Arizona. The Upper Canyon is the most-visited as most tours opt to visit this canyon. A walking tour through the canyon is entirely at ground level and can accommodate more people than the narrower Lower Canyon. The Upper Canyon is also more photogenic as shown by this “ray of light” that occurs from the near vertical position of the mid-day sun in the summer months.
